Ridge PTO Mission

The mission of the Ridge Parent Teacher Organization is to provide parent volunteers and services to the teachers, students, and staff of RHS; to educate and inform parents and the community about RHS; and to encourage involvement.

    The two Ridge PTO Co-Presidents supervise and control the business and affairs of the PTO. The PTO is responsible for a variety of school related activities including but not limited to parent communication via publications, email and the website, school directory creation, teacher appreciation events, fundraising, PAC, and coordinating volunteers for school activities. The Co-Presidents also represent the Ridge High School PTO to the Principal and at District wide meetings.

    The Ridge PTO Vice President of Digital Communications & Social Media maintains the PTO website and the Ridge PTO social media presence on Facebook. The volunteer should possess some familiarity with technology. The position involves sharing information about upcoming events, fundraising, and volunteer opportunities with the Ridge High School community through Facebook and the PTO website, as well as ensuring that the web hosting and domain name renewal are current.

    The Vice President of Programs is responsible for scheduling at minimum one Fall and one Spring General meeting. This includes securing presenter(s), date, and location and publicizing the event. Additionally, the Programs Vice President will organize the end of year Volunteer Thank You Breakfast.

    The Vice President, Volunteers coordinate the recruiting of Committee Chairs and committee volunteers; works with chairpersons to facilitate committee needs before, during and after the event; and obtains an event feedback document whenever possible.

  • Claudine McMahon

    The secretary is responsible for attending all PTO Board and General Meetings as well as the monthly PAC meetings. The secretary will take notes on information provided during the meetings, submit them to the co-presidents and principal for approval. Once approved, the secretary will send to all committee members and submit PAC minutes to the Digital Communications Vice President to be uploaded to the website.

  • Ryan Parker

    The Treasurer monitors the financial condition of the PTO, develops a budget and is responsible for the collection and disbursement of funds.

  • Neslihan Montag

    The Representative attends the bi-monthly Board of Education meetings and reports back to the PTO Board regarding information discussed pertinent to Ridge High School.

All members of the PTO Executive Board are volunteers. PTO Bylaws are available to PTO members upon request.
